An Iconic Desktop

Since I was just a toddler, I always wanted to see what would happen if Mario and Sonic ever did meet.

I love that there have been a few crossover games as of now that allow us to see such a fantasy, but this by far is my favorite of the images:

The two mascots of the two most well known gaming companies, joining hands and giving each other a friendly smile as they stare at each other just as they are equals.

Truly, that is one of the most iconic images in the history of gaming, because it shows that the two companies are friends, and can join forces to give us among the best games we've ever seen.

After a long search for the biggest and best quality of this image... I finally found it in pieces that I assembled in Paint.

For those of you waiting for the next chapter of the TD series... I'm working on it... but we just got a new Xbox 360 Friday, and I'm working on regaining myself back where I was on all my games.

Meaning Sonic Unleashed, Next Gen, Sega Superstars Tennis, Shadow the Hedgehog, Mega Collection Plus, XBL Arcade Compilation Disc and even the Amped 3 game I have yet to try needs to be broken in again. But no sweat... Unleashed is close to finishing... I need to kick Dark Gaia's butt. and then collect the extra things, followed by the other games.

I'm sorry, but I can't stand having no progress on my games... I just have to have everything maxed as far as I can.

But I'll give you a hint about the next Emerald in the story... a rabbit named MIPS is involved.

Dunno who MIPS is? That's why I got this desktop up... he exists in a Mario game... but I just had to borrow him for a moment.

In other news... we also got DDR Universe 3 for Mom. She wanted a workout type game, and we convinced her to get herself a DDR game, since the dance pad is fun, and this game has music she knows. It was a hit with her!

Oh, and for all you with iPhones, and iPod Touches... The original first Sonic game has been ported! It's really nicely done, and I love that the original Genesis controller set up is maintained in the form of a touch digital version. You can even enter the old level select by hitting Up, Down, Left, Right and New Game. Classic sounds and graphics, and it's got two view modes: Full Screen and Arcade (Which splits the controller from the screen). And the Special Stage is there too, unlike the Chocolate Phone version. I love it and hope more Genesis games are next. A must get for all you iPhone and iPod Touch owners. And for about $6 too... not bad for a full game that uses touch screen. And they have a fun new loading screen, plus the game is remastered just a little, so it's not too pixely. ^^
