Rae Mini-Ref Sheet 2014

Fun fact: The original Rae design was made over 8 years ago by my best friend Kyrenoria for a sprite comic she made that never got off the ground, where my friends and I got sucked into Mobius

Back then, Rae was simply a fusion of Tails with Raven from Teen Titans. Rae had the same powers as Raven, and couldn't use her tails to fly (a fact she would keep explaining when anyone would ask if she could get them out of trouble). Rae would also be the token "smarty" with her techno-lingo being characterized with lengthy "blah blah blahs" punctuated with things like "are you really gonna read this" and all that.

Even though the sprite comic never came to be, Ky let me keep Rae and adopt her as my avatar, changing her every now and then to make her look less like a recolor, but retaining the original idea... 

This current version is what I think is the 10th or 11th revision, and I doubt I will ever lose the twin tails thing, as it's not only a link to Rae's origins, but I also enjoy coming up with things they can be used for, most notably the "magic satchel" effect they have, and that Rae uses them to anchor her against stuff sometimes. XD
